Standing in the Rain is about those moments we all face when something important comes to an end. Whether it's a relationship, a dream, or a chapter of life, endings often bring sadness and pain. Rather than dwelling on heartbreak, Standing in the Rain explores a choice to feel love instead of the loss it reminds us that letting go doesn't mean giving up—it means making space for something new.

This song is loosely based on my own experiences, including some time I spent living in Los Angeles when I was young. I have many fond memories of those years.

The song reflects on the things we spend our lives pursuing and the realization that happiness doesn't always come from what's happening around us. Sometimes it comes from learning to appreciate who we are, where we are, and the people who share the journey with us.
